Review & Description
Life is my adventure, and bicycles are my vehicles. I crave distance and elevation — longer, higher and harder. I'm not fast. But give me a deep winter chill, mud-soaked trail or drenching rain, and I'm still happy, because I'm out there in the world — the real world. I love outdoor landscapes. I take a lot of photos.
This blog used to be called "Up in Alaska." I launched it in 2005, shortly after I moved to the Last Frontier, to keep my friends and family updated on my life. It has since taken the shape of an endurance bike racing blog, an outdoor adventure blog and a photo blog. In June 2010, I moved to Montana to pursue new opportunities. Now this blog is about my life "Outside."
